Leather Facts
Leathers in the Wellington's Heirloom Leather Furniture collection are the finest leathers available. Each leather has unique qualities and properties all its own. Being a product of nature, full grain leathers are enhanced by certain markings that individualize each hide such as barbed wire marks, healed scars, wrinkles, and other natural signatures. These are not defects, but are special characteristics of each hide which add personality and distinction to your piece of furniture.
Seat Cushions
Our standard seat core is what we call Comfort Loft. This cushion was selected for its "spring back" resilience and lofty look. This shape appeals to and compliments any application.
This high-end seating cushion will come standard on all products we offer that will allow. Some executive chairs and recliners will not allow the lofty center. These items will come standard with 1.8, 24-pound poly foam. All foam is covered with a fiber muslin ticking. This foam seat offers a soft feel that conforms to the body. Again, spring loft is standard on every item, even ottomans. Only Wellington's takes such pride in their products. Down topper available on some styles, although leather inhibits its softening characteristics.
Back Cushions
All Fiber Backs are standard in most loose and semi-attached back styles. The backs are channeled and filled so that the fiber will not migrate or drop with use.
Sleep Sofas
Our sleep sofas are manufactured with a bi-fold mechanism with a built-in TV headrest. This mechanism pulls out easily to convert your sofa to a comfortable bed. We have selected a 6" thick queen size mattress with inner spring construction similar to premium bedding to ensure a peaceful night's rest.
